Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has disclosed that Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey brings quality and mentality to the team as they aim to return to Champions League next season.
The Gunners completed the signing of 27-year-old from Atletico Madrid on the transfer deadline day after paying his 50m euros (£45.3m) release clause.
Partey made 35 league appearances and scored three goals for Diego Simeone's side as they finished third in La Liga last season.
Xhaka, who is yet to play alongside the Ghanaian knows he'll bring quality to Mikel Arteta's side.
"He will be the guy who is important for me and as well for the team. Everyone in the club can be happy because he has great quality," he said.
"He will bring a good mentality, a good balance in our game because this is what we need a bit more: the mentality to win.
"He played at Atletico Madrid, a different type of football, and he will bring a lot of good quality and mentality."
