Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey says he is delighted there is a lot of quality players in the camp of the Black Stars ahead of the friendly games against Mali and Qatar.

The team is missing some of the regular players as preparations continue for the upcoming friendly games in the international break.

However, for Thomas Partey who is in the camp of the Black Stars, there is quality in the team and everyone will show what they can do when given the opportunity.

"I am very happy; we have a lot of quality players in the team. There are so many Ghanaian players out there who are good but not all of us can be here", the midfielder said in an interview with the GFA Communications team.

Thomas Partey continued, "Fortunately, we are here because we won the heart of the Coach. And I think it’s a good place to show what we have".

The likes of Mubarak Wakaso, Christian Atsu, Jonathan Mensah, John Boye, and Harrison Afful did not earn a call-up from coach C.K Akonnor and hence will not be playing any part in the friendly matches against Mali and Qatar.
