Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey says he is looking forward to winning more laurels with his club side Atletico Madrid this season.
The Spanish side are currently in Australia for a pre-season training tour ahead of the start of the new season.
On Friday, Madrid defeated English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspurs 1-0 in their international Champions cup friendly in Melbourne.
Partey who faced the media after the game revealed that his club's priority this season is to win laurels.
"Let me state that, Simeone believes in my work and there's nothing i've to do again to prove my mettle in the squad to gain the manager's trust in order to get much playing time," he said of his game time after their slim victory against Tottenham.
"The team's goal is to win every game, reach the Champions League finals again and try to win titles," He added: "This is a pre-season game but it's always important to win every game and keep the clean sheet. Now we must continue working hard in this pre-season because we've a lot of preparation ahead in order to arrive at the best level ahead of the league season."
