Tijani Joshua ends six-year stay at AshantiGold

Tijani Joshua has parted ways with Ghana Premier League side Ashanti Gold SC ahead of the upcoming season.

The 27-year-old is ending his six-year stay at the Miners ahead of their Caf Confederation Cup campaign.

Joshua is leaving the Len Clay Stadium outfit after refusing to extend his contract with the club.

He was named the team's captain two seasons ago.

Ashanti Gold SC are currently preparing for their CAF Confederation Cup campaign which starts next month.

The left-back joined the Miners lads from fellow Premiership side Wa All-Stars in 2013.
