The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Berekum Chelsea, Oduro Sarfo has slammed critics of the team's pitch as he notes that such people can go to hell.
The pitch of the Berekum-based club is in a worse state weeks after it was approved by the Club Licensing Board.
On Sunday afternoon, the state of the pitch took the shine away from the exciting fixture between Berekum Chelsea and Asante Kotoko.
Having attracted criticism from unimpressed football enthusiasts, Oduro Sarfo has defended the club while indicating the team will continue using the pitch.
“To hell with those complaining about the nature of the pitch at Berekum Golden City Park. Besides players usually play sakora pitch,” the GFA Exco members said in an interview with Angel 102.9FM.
Oduro Sarfo continued, “No one has given us money so the complaints must stop. We will continue to play on that pitch.”
