Today in History: On this day in 1965 Ghana lifted AFCON trophy in Tunisia

Ghana lifted the Africa Cup of Nations trophy after beating Tunisia 3-2 in the final on 21 November 1965.

Frank Odoi scored a brace with the other goal from Osei Kofi to ensure victory for the Black Stars after extra time at the Stade Chedli Zouiten in Tunis

This was the second trophy for Ghana after winning the first title in 1963 on home soil.

Today marks exactly 51 years since that feat was achieved.
