Togbe Afede coughs out huge sum to develop Hearts training grounds.

Reports according to Happy FM reveal that Accra Hearts of Oak Board Chairman Togbe Afede XIV has releases GHC 1.6b to help develop the club’s training grounds at Pobiman. In February this year, construction of an ultra-modern Sports Complex at its Pobiman training site was started and the board Chairman Togbe Afede deems it well to invest more to quickly lift up the project. Togbe Afede XIV who doubles as the founder of the SAS Group of companies which sponsored the club for sometime, is now fetching in more cash to aid the cub in its pursuit of rising to the zenith as the oldest club in Ghana. The complex when completed, will house two football pitches, a club house, gym, swimming pool, offices, tennis court, classrooms, medical centre, dining hall, residence, hostel, changing room, stores and many other facilities a modern Sports Complex can boost off. The club currently trains at the Legon Ajax Park, a rented facility that belongs to the University of Ghana where Portuguese coach Sergio Traguil is trying to build a team of his own capable of winning the Ghana Premier League.
