Tokyo 2020 Qualifiers: Kenya to arrive in Ghana today ahead of Black Queens encounter

The Kenyan women’s national team is on their way to Ghana ahead of their first leg encounter with the Black Queens in the qualifiers to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

Nicknamed the Harambee Starlets, Footballghana.com can confirm that the team departed from Nairobi on Tuesday and will arrive in Accra later this evening to finalize preparations for the big game.

The match between the two sides is key for their qualification to the Olympic Games and as such both managers and their players are taking it very seriously.

Upon their arrival in their country, the Kenyans will rest but will start training right away tomorrow.

The first of the two-legged clash will be played on Friday, October 4, 2019, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
