A top GFA official lashes out at former Ghana coach Avram Grant

A member of the Ghana Football Association Executive Committee Wilfred Osei has stated that former Black Stars coach Avram Grant left no legacy.

The GFA and Avram Grant ended their relationship last month following Ghana's failure to win the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.

Grant before his departure intimated that he built a stronger squad that can compete well in future assignments but Wilfred Osei who doubles as vice chairman of the Black Stars management committee says the Israeli trainer will not be remembered for anything .

“He (Grant) knows he failed, let’s ask ourselves the legacy he left as head Coach of the Black Stars,” he said.

“He failed to meet his target and his approach to the work was uninspiring. Why are Ghanaians calling for a competent Coach, because they don’t want the mistake of appointing someone who will not dedicate himself to the work.

“He actually left no legacy as head Coach of the Black Stars, what will he be remembered for now that he is gone? Nothing,”
