Tottenham fullback Danny Rose is flattered by interest from Manchester United.
The London Evening Standard says Rose, who is sidelined with a knee injury, has been assessing his options for some time at Spurs, and — even though he is happy at the club — has been wondering whether he might one day benefit from a change of scene.
Rose is regarded as one of the best left-backs in Europe. When Manchester City signed Kyle Walker for £50million, they asked about Rose — and were rebuffed.
Rose wants to win trophies and it is believed he has started to ask himself whether this will be possible at Spurs. If Rose were to join any of the clubs who have shown interest, he would earn a substantial pay rise.
