Tottenham to warn off rivals with Trippier offer

Tottenham Hotspur are ready to fend off interest in right-back Kieran Trippier by offering him a brand new contract, according to reports from ESPN FC.

Kieran Tripper has largely featured as the back-up right-back for Tottenham Hotspur since his arrival to the club in 2015 but the 26-year-old has managed to more than impress whenever he has been given the opportunity to start.

With Kyle Walker expected to be joining Manchester City next season, Trippier could well become the first-choice under Mauricio Pochettino and reports claim that Tottenham are looking to tie down the former Burnley star to a new long-term deal, fending off interest from Everton in the process.
