Trabzonspor handed injury boost as Ghanaian striker Caleb Ekuban nears return

Turkish side Trabzonspor have been handed a boost as Ghana international Caleb Ekuban nears injury return. 

The 25-year-old has been sidelined for over a month now after breaking a bone in his left foot after colliding with Ivanildo Fernandes in training

According to reports Turkey, Ebuban is believed to be responding well to treatment and could even return before the time set for his comeback.

The former Leeds United forward has been one of the standout players of  Trabzonspor so far this season, scoring five goals in just seven games as the Black Sea Storm qualified to the groups stages of the 2019/20 UEFA Europa League.

Trabzonspor have had an impressive start to the season and presently lie third on the Turkish Super Lig table however, the return of Ekuban will be a huge boost for the club ahead of their upcoming games after the international break.
