Turkish side Trabzonspor team doctor Hakan Ayaz has provided an injury on Ghanaian striker Caleb Ekuban.
The 25-year-old suffered an injury during his side's 2-1 win over Fenerbahce on February 1 and has been on the sidelines for the past few games.
"Caleb Ekuban’s problem is in the left back muscle, Pubis bone edema and edema in the left foot thumb tendon have been detected. We are working assiduously on him to be fit," Ayaz told Sabah.
The highly-rated forward has had a difficult spell since the 2019/2020 season started. During the first round of the league, he spent most of his time receiving treatment for his fractured foot comb bone.
He has featured for the side in 17 matches in all competitions this season and has scored six times in the process as Trabzonspor lie second on the league table.
