Trabzonspor striker Caleb Ekuban has been sidelined for a week with a groin injury.
The 26-year-old sustained the injury in their Turkish Süper Lig opener against Besiktas at the Medical Park over the weekend.
A statement from Trabzonspor over the outcome of Ekuban's MRI scan test reads:
"As a result of the examination and MRI examinations of our football player, who was injured and taken from the game as a result of a blow to his right hip during the Beşiktaş match, bleeding was detected in the outer rotator muscle of the thigh and treatment was started."
Ekuban's side suffered a 3-1 home defeat to Beşiktaş last Sunday.
