Former Asante Kotoko captain, Emmanuel Gyamfi has been excluded from the team’s travelling squad to Dubai for the pre-season training camp.
The attacker captained the Porcupine Warriors club last season when the team missed out on the Ghana Premier League title to rivals Hearts of Oak.
While he was expected to help the team battle for trophies next season, Emmanuel Gyamfi has in the last few weeks been put on a transfer list.
As reported by footballghana.com last week, the winger has interest from Aduana Stars and is set to join the team in Dormaa before the 2021/2022 football season commences.
Today, the experienced forward has been excluded from the Asante Kotoko squad travelling to Dubai for the pre-season training camp.
The news comes to give an indication that Emmanuel Gyamfi is no longer part of the plans of Asante Kotoko.
The club has already signed a number of young attackers and ready to rely on their talent for the upcoming season.
