Manchester City just came off a very successful campaign, that saw the club win the Premier League and reach the Champions League final, and now it seems that they are on trying to bring to England Real Sociedad's Mikel Oyarzabal.
Oyarzabal seems to be something of an obsession for Manchester City Director of Football Txiki Begiristain, who has tried multiple times in the past to bring the Spaniard to Manchester City, but to no avail. Oyarzabal was first linked with City in 2019, when Leroy Sane seemed set to join Bayern Munchen, but Sane's injury threw a wrench in those plans. Last season, when Sane finally moved to the Bundesliga, City once again tried to sign the Real Sociedad man, but opted for Ferran Torres instead. Maybe third time is the charm, as the Citizens seem once again going for Oyarzabal, as requested, it seems, by Bergiristain himself.
