Tunisia is the last qualifier for the quarterfinals of the CAN, thanks to its success on penalties on Monday in front of Ghana, in eighth (1-1 ap, tab: 5-4). Taha Khenissi had opened the scoring in the last quarter of an hour (73), Rami Bedoui accidentally equalizing against his side in overtime (90 + 2) when he had just entered. Alain Giresse's players will face Madagascar, before potentially finding Senegal or Benin in semi-finals.
