Turkey based defender Joseph Attamah Lawerh makes Ghana debut

Turkey based defender Joseph Attarmah Lawerh made his debut for the senior national team of Ghana.

The defender who played the right back position had a difficult debut as Ghana drew 1-1 with the Red Devils of Congo.

The former Ghana under-20 defender’s error was costly as the Congolese capitalized on that to score their goal.

The impressive Istanbul Basaksehir defender could not replicate his club form in the game and had to be substitute after half time.

Attamah Lawerh will look to put the horrendous debut behind him as the Black Stars travel to Brazzaville for the second leg.

Ghana’s chances of qualifying for Russia 2018 is now bleak as the Black Stars picked two points in three games.
