Turkish side Devrek Belediyespor sign ex-Liberty midfielder Gerard Arkson

Turkish lower tier side Devrek Belediyespor have completed the signing of former Liberty Professionals midfielder Gerard Arkson in the on-going transfer window.

The 21-year-old penned a deal with Belediyespor after passing his mandatory medical and completing the formalities.

The highly-rated Ghanaian midfielder joins after a short spell with Kaynasli Belediyespor.

He was bought out of contract from his Kaynasli side after impressive performances in the Turkish Regional Amateur League.

Before joining the Turkish outfit, he attracted interest from several clubs in Ghana as well as Europe.

Arkson made seven appearances for Kaynasli Belediyespor in the first round of Turkish Regional Amateur League.

The Regional Amateur league consists of thirteen groups across Turkey.

Each season 9 teams are promoted to TFF Third League while the bottom two teams of each group are relegated to the Amatör Futbol Ligleri.
