Ghana will host Gambia in the semi-finals of the tournament today at the Olympic Stadium in Nouakchott.

According to Boateng, beating Cameroon has given the team confidence ahead of their clash today.

He stressed that the team will beat Gambia to play in the finals and win the trophy in the finals.

“Cameroon is a very good team and the fact that we have beaten them has given us confidence that we can do it," he told Cafonline.com.

"I believe we can go all the way to the final and the confidence we have picked from this match is enough to push us through,” Boateng stated.

The two teams played against each other in the group stages where Gambia came from a goal down to beat the Black Satellites 2-1 and earn an automatic spot in the quarter-finals, with Ghana dropping to third but squeezing through as one of the best two third-placed teams.
