Nigeria have been paired with host nation Egypt, Senegal and Mozambique in Group A for TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations 2023.
The draw was held on Friday night at the Confederation of African Football (CAF) headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
The tournament will take place from 19 February to 11 March 2023. The host cities are Cairo (Group A), Ismailia (Group B) and Alexandria (Group C).
The 12-nation tournament will begin with an opening game between hosts Egypt and Mozambique on Sunday 19 February 2023 at 16h00 local time.
Nigeria have been preparing for the tournament in Abuja for the past few months. The Flying Eagles have won the competition seven times, they last won it in 2015 but won the WAFU B tournament in May, to book their place in Egypt.
