U-23 Afcon: Black Meteors jersey numbers revealed; Skipper Yaw Yeboah to wear No.10 shirt

Black Meteors of Ghana have revealed their squad numbers for the upcoming 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations to be staged in Egypt.

Skipper Yaw Yeboah has retained the iconic No.10 shirt as he seeks to lead the side to glory in Egypt.

Debutant Robin Polley, who plies his trade for Dutch side ADO Den Haag will wear the No.9 shirt for Ghana

Black Stars striker Kwabena Owusu gets the No.7 shirt and Ropapa Mensah of Nashville SC will put on the No.14 jersey.

Asante Kotoko’s Mohammed Habib will be in the No.17 shirt.

Ghana will face Cameroon in their Group opener before playing Egypt and Mali on November 11 and 14 respectively.

The best three teams will qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games football tournament.

The Black Meteors’s last appearance at the Summer Olympics was in 2004 Gamaes in Athens, Greece.
