Black Meteors skipper Yaw Yeboah is confident the team will work hard to seal qualification to Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Coach Ibrahim Tanko and his lads will be hoping to secure one of the three slots to book a place in next year’s Olympic Games.

The team touch-downed in Egypt on Monday as they prepare for their opening game against Cameroon on Friday at the Cairo International Stadium.

Speaking in a meeting with Ghana’s Ambassador to Egypt, Winfred Nii Okai Hammond, Yaw Yeboah assured him the team will do their best to secure qualification.

"We seeing you here is a motivation to us. We are also going to assure you that we will work hard in achieving our target. We like the confidence you have shown in us and we assure you that we will do our best to qualify," he said.

Ghana have been drawn in Group A alongside hosts Egypt, Cameroon and Mali.
