Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has sent goodwill message to the Black Meteors ahead of their 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament opening game against Cameroon on Friday.

Coach Ibrahim Tanko's side will face the Indomitable Lions at the Cairo International Stadium.

Ahead of the game, the Black Stars coach has wished the team good luck as they begin their quest for Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games qualification slot against Rigobert Song’s Cameroon.

”Wishing the Black Meteors the very best of luck in their Caf U23 Afcon opening game against Cameroon Friday,” he posted on his official twitter account on Thursday evening.
