Black Meteors head coach Ibrahim Tanko has named a strong starting XI to face Gabon in the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Genk youngster Joseph Paintsil has been handed a start alongside Sparta Prague striker Benjamin Tetteh with Yaw Yeboah leading the team.
Former Inter Allies shot stopper Kwame Baah is in post with Kingsley Fobi and Gideon Mensah playing on the left and right flanks respectively.
Musah Nuhu will be partnered by Berekum Chelsea’s Zakaria Fuseini.
In midfield, Somin Zibo will play just in front of the back four with Joseph Paintsil, Yaw Yeboah and Osman Bukari in an offensive midfield role while hat trick hero Kwabena Owusu leads the attack together with Benjamin Tetteh.
