Head coach for the Black Meteors of Ghana, Ibrahim Tanko has named his final 18-man squad that will do battle against Algeria next week in the second leg of the final qualifying round to the 2019 CAF U-23 Cup of Nations tournament.
That match will be the decider as far as qualification to the upcoming continental showdown is concerned after the first leg ended 1-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium last Friday.
Defensive midfielder Agbekornu has replaced Nurudeen Abdul-Aziz from the squad that featured in the first leg.
Ghana needs to win the match to ensure her hopes of making it to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games stays intact.
The 18-man squad is expected to fly out to Algiers later today before wrapping up preparations with an intensive training session tomorrow.
The match will be played on Sunday at the Stade du 8 mai 1945 in Sétif on Tuesday, September 10, 2019.
