Black Meteors forward Emmanuel Yeboah has asked for God’s favour ahead of their game against Morocco at the U23 AFCON.

The Ghana U23 team are currently in Morocco fighting for one of the slot for the Olympic Games next year.

The team recorded victory in their opening game against Congo after inflicting a 3-2 win on Sunday afternoon.

The Ghana U23 side will take on the host country on Tuesday night in their second Group A game of the tournament.

“Father Lord, Please Grant us favour and your mercies to put smiles in the faces of our people back home 🇬🇭 in Jesus name 🙏. Please lord Let your will be done” he tweeted.

Yeboah emerged as the hero when Ghana defeated Congo 3-2 in thjeir opening group A game on Sunday.

He climbed off the bench to contribute three goals for the Black Meteors. Before hitting a brace, he had already set up Ernest Nuamah for the opener.

Ghana are on top of Group A together with Morocco who also have three points after beating Guinea in their opening match.

The Black Meteors last competed in the Olympic Games in 2004 when it was held in Athens, Greece.
