Khalil, has already been stripped of the captaincy for Lima and he has been benched many times with Gyan leading the attack of the Dubai Club.

The striker who has netted 110 times in 227 games since his 2006 debut for Ahli is likely to be sold in January with plans of making Gyan their target man upfront.

Gyan joined Al Ahli in the summer after securing a season long loan deal from Chinese side Shanghai SIPG and has caught the eye of fans across the Gulf.
