UAE side appoint former Ghana international Baba Armando as Director of Football

UAE Amateur club Admirals FC have officially appointed ex-Black Stars forward Baba Adamu Armando as Director of Football of the club.

The former Ghana international has joined the management team of the Dubai-based club and he will be in charge of scouting talents, transfers as well as the day to day affairs of the team.

The 39-years old spent several years of his playing career in the Gulf country where he featured for Al Shabaab and Al Nasr.

Following his appointment, he said it is a great opportunity for him to impact his football knowledge on the players as they seek to get to the top.

“It is a great chance for me to give out what I have learnt in the game to others. Admirals FC is a great project and I am happy to be part. ” Armando told footballmadeinghana.com.

Admirals FC won the 2018/2019 United Arab Emirate Amateur League.
