Ghanaian international Patrick Twumasi laid on an assist in FC Astana's 1-1 draw with Oympiakos Piraeus on Thursday evening in the UEFA Europa League.
Twumasi supplied Djordie Despotovic with the ball to tap into an empty net to give the Khazakstan champions an early lead.
Twumasi sprinted past his hapless marker before firing a cross in front of the goal for DEspotovic to score.
However, his side were unable to hand-on and the visitors struck the equaliser in the 30th minute when Seba directed a bullet header into the net in the 30th minute.
Twumasi was given a yellow card in the 57th minute for tripping an opponent. The former Sogakope Red Bull Academy graduate was substituted in the 93rd minute.
Both teams struggled to dictate the tempo of what was a very boring game.
