Micho - Uganda Coach

Uganda coach Micho Sredojevic will be counting on his vast knowledge of the Black Stars to cause a massive upset in this afternoon's 2018 World Cup qualifier in Tamale.

The Serb operated as a scout for the Black Stars under the tenure of previous coach Milovan Rajevac and has never hidden his desire to one day take charge of the team.

He is said to view the game as an opportunity to showcase his tactical acumen to the handlers of the team. Micho is also unbeaten in his last two games against Ghana.

Ahead of the game, the Serbian coach has also downplayed side’s 1-0 defeat at the hands of Togo ahead of their World Cup Qualifying game against Ghana.

The Cranes were pipped by a lone in the Togolese capital as they fine-tuned preparations for the tie against the Black Stars.

“This game and the game on Friday will not have any connection,” he said.

''This is a different game and obviously we wanted to check some few things with our team before we go into Friday’s game, we are ready for that challenge and we want to get a positive result.''

“We are happy that we have a good match which is competitive and given us the chance to assess our players.”

“We have hidden something which we will put in place on Friday. We are a different team when we play friendlies and different when we play competitive games.”
