The Cranes of Uganda moved to the top of Group E after beating Congo-Brazzaville 1-0 in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier at the Mandela National Stadium in Kampala on Saturday afternoon.
The Cranes have four points after an initial draw with Ghana and moved ahead of Egypt to the top of the Group E standings, while the Red Devils of COngo are rooted to the bottom of the log.
Cranes forward Miya scored the only goal of the match firing past Mongondza to put Uganda into the lead.
Ghana will hope to catch up to them at the top of the group with victory against Egypt tomorrow in Alexandria.
