Asante Kotoko midfielder Richard Senanu is attracting interest from unnamed South African and French clubs in the on-going transfer window, according to Oyerepa Sports.
Senanu is on the radar of several clubs including South African side Ajax Cape Town and a top French ligue 1 side with seven months left on his contract with the Porcupine Warriors.
The 26-year-old suffered a knee injury last year while in action for Kotoko in a CAF Confederations Cup clash against Zambian outfit Zesco United.
He was flown to Germany to undergo a surgery at the Klinikum Sustard in Rostock. Renowned Orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Thomas Westphal carried out the surgery successfully before Germany’s leading physiotherapists, Andrew Berthold designed a rehabilitation program for him to follow.
He has since regained his full fitness and is expected to play a key role for coach Maxwell Konadu's side when football resumes.
Senanu was the livewire of coach C.K Akonnor’s Asante Kotoko team during his time at the club.
