Ghana star Mohammed Kudus has bid farewell to Ajax after his move to West Ham United was announced on Sunday.

The Hammers confirmed the capture of the 23-year-old after weeks of speculations.

Kudus joins the East London club on a five-year deal that will run until 2028, with an option to extend for a sixth year.

The Right to Dream Academy graduate then took to social media five days after the announcement to thank his former club.

“As one journey ends, another awaits. But the Ajax chapter is one for the books,” he wrote on Twitter, now known as X.

“Thank you AFC Ajax! Every challenge, every goal, every chant heard - unforgettable. Until we dance again! #WijZijnAjax ❤️" to The Academy of Football.”

Since joining Ajax from Nordsjaelland in 2020, Mohammed Kudus has made 87 appearances for the Dutch giants, scoring 27 goals and providing 12 assists.

He won the Eredivisie twice and the Dutch Cup once during his three seasons at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
