Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah has been ruled out for three weeks after suffering an injury in his second preseason match.
The 18-year-old started well in the preseason, training hard and impressing in his first game. But, in his second, he was tackled hard by an opposition player, forcing him to come off.
Initial tests were conducted and it was discovered that his injury is not that serious but would need at least three weeks to recover.
This means that he will likely miss the league opener in Spain.
Musah recently chose to play for the USA national team, snubbing Ghana and England.
