Accra Hearts of Oak has appointed former Black Stars goalkeeper, Ben Owu as their Goalkeeper’s Trainer.
Owu, was a member of the historic 1991 national under-17 team, the Black Starlets that won the World Cup.
The decision to appoint the veteran shot stopper on the technical team, was at the request of Head Coach Kim Grant.
Owu signed a one-year- deal which us subject to renewal was expected to begin work on 12 December.
He is expected on the bench when Hearts locks horn with Asante Kotoko in the return leg of the 2019 President’s Cup at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
