The completed astroturf at Adjiringanor in the Adenta Municipality in the Greater Accra Region has been commissioned by Ghana's Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia this evening.

Some personalities at the event this evening were the Greater Accra regional minister, Stephen Appiah, Hon. Ussif (Sports Minister) among others.

The Vice President took to his official facebook page to share the news about the commissioning to the general public.

"This evening, I joined dignitaries, including former national football stars at Adjiringanor in the Adenta Municipality in the Greater Accra Region to commission an ultra modern astroturf for the Adjiringanor community," he wrote.

"The commissioning of the beautiful edifice adds to the remarkable number of modern astro turfs the government of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has built in various communities across the country in the past 4 years,"

"These community astro turfs will not only help unearth more talents, but also promote community sports and fitness," he ended.
