Niger import, Victorien Adebayor has expressed his delight after being named as the Inter Allies player of the month for January.
The striker and captain for the Capelli Boys featured in all 6 games for his team and managed to score five times. His exploits were recognized on the various matchdays as he walked away with 3 Nasco Man of the Match awards as well.
Earlier today, Inter Allies through a post on their official website announced that Victorien Adebayor has been voted as the club's player of the month for January.
Speaking in an interview, the prolific attacker said: ‘‘It’s a pleasure and I’m excited to be named the club’s player of the month but it would not be possible without team-mates who work very hard to ensure the team keeps its fine form".
Adebayor narrowly missed out on winning the Ghana Premier League Nasco Player of the Month award which deservedly went to Aduana Stars marksman Yahaya Mohammed.
