The Niger import has been named above his team mates as the Inter Allies Player of the month after his impressive start to the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League campaign.
The captain played in all the six matches for his club and directly contributed to an astonishing eight goals (5 goals 3 assists) whilst earning three man of the match awards.
He was also nominated for the NASCO player of the month but that award went to Aduana Stars hitman Yahaya Mohammed who scored six goals in six matches.
Adebayor expressed his happiness at the recognition and thanked his team mates
"It’s a pleasure and I’m excited to be named the club’s player of the month but it would not be possible without team-mates who work very hard to ensure the team keeps it’s fine form,”.
The Niger forward scored five of his team's ten goals during the period under review.
