Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan extended his remarkable run of success for Fiorentina with an assist on Saturday as La Viola smashed Salernitana.

The 28-year-old setup Dusan Vlahovic's opening goal of the game as Fiorentina thrashed the newcomers 4-0 in the Italian Serie A.

After a strong run of form, the Black Stars midfielder began and played for 80 minutes until being replaced by Yousef Maleh, who scored the game's last goal.

Giacomo Bonaventura scored after 31 minutes, and Vlahovic added a brace after the break. Maleh, who came on for Alfred Duncan, then scored in the 91st minute.

Duncan has been a key player for Vicenzo Italiano's team this season, appearing in 15 games so far.
