England-born forward of Ghanaian descent, Eddie Nketiah has travelled to Ghana for a short holiday period.

The Arsenal striker arrived in the country on Tuesday night and was received by players and officials of Women’s team, Ridge City Football Club.

The forward was seen happy as he tried to emulate the dance moves of the traditional dancers arranged for him.

Checks have revealed that Eddie Nketiah will be in Ghana throughout the 2022 FIFA World Cup period and will return to England when the tournament is over to team up with his Arsenal teammates to prepare for the resumption of the English Premier League season.

The young striker was engaged by officials of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in the last few months to convince him to switch his allegiance to represent the Black Stars.

He is reported to have chosen to turn down the advances in hopes of landing an England call-up for the mundial.

Unfortunately, his limited playing time at Arsenal did not allow him to do enough to earn a call-up to the Three Lions for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
