VIDEO: Asamoah Gyan scores fantastic goal to earn a point for NorthEast United against Mumbai FC
Legendary Ghanaian striker Asamoah Gyan was on the scoresheet for his North East United side earlier this afternoon when they drew 2-2 against Mumbai FC in the Indian Super League.
The former Sunderland attacker was handed another starting role in a match week 5 fixture when his side played as the home team at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati.
Panagiotis Triadis shot NorthEast United into the lead just 9 minutes into the match but a brace from Amine Chermiti later in the half handed Mumbai FC a 2-1 lead.
Three minutes to end the first half, Black Stars all-time leading goal-scorer Asamoah Gyan scored a beautiful goal to restore parity for his side.
That goal proved crucial at the end of the 90 minutes with both sides sharing the spoils.
