Asante Kotoko legend who doubles as the head coach of Division two side Thunderbolt Football club, Joe Agyemang senior believes his former club cannot win this year's Ghana Premier League title.
His side lost to Kotoko 3 goals to 1 at the Nana Afrane Okese IV stadium of the MTN FA CUP round of 32 on Saturday afternoon.
Speaking in a post-match interview, the coach said he will prefer Hearts of Oak to win the league title instead.
“Asante Kotoko cannot win the GPL title and will be very excited if Coach Samuel Boadu wins it,” he said while speaking to Akakpo Agodji of Ashh fm.
The Super Clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko on the 27th of June will be the decider of the Ghana Premier League title.
"I tip hearts winning it because playing the super clash game in Accra will be difficult for my former Kotoko,” coach Agyemang added.
