A brace from striker Percious Boah plus a stunning strike from talented midfielder Abdul Issahaku Fatawu inspired Ghana U-20 team to a massive 4-0 win over the Tanzania U-20 team at the Total CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

Nicknamed the Black Satellites, the West African side kicked off their campaign at this year’s tournament with an encounter against the Group C opponent.

Starting off on a good note, Ghana opened the scoring through Percious Boah in the fourth minute when the striker converted his effort from a direct free-kick.

Keeping hold of the momentum, the Satellites doubled their lead in the 30th minute when Abdul Issahaku Fatawu scored from the halfway line.

Later in the second half, Percious Boah grabbed his second of the match before Joselpho Barnes also registered his name on the scoresheet to seal a 4-0 win for the Ghana U-20 team against the Tanzanian opponent.

The second group against Morocco is scheduled to kick off at 7pm on Friday February 19.
