Ghanaian striker Caleb Ekuban was on target for Trabzonspor in their 2-1 defeat to Denizlispor in the Turkish Süper Lig on Monday.
Ekuban's goal was not enough as his side lost narrowly at the Denizli Ataturk Stadium.
The 26-year-old opened the scoring the visitors in the 14th minute of the game after he was assisted by Abdulkadir Omur but Denizlispor leveled the score through a strike from Hadi Sacko in the 46th minute.
Late into the half, Oscar Estupinan netted the winning goal for Denizlispor after he was assisted by Olcay Sahan to seal all three points for the hosts.
Ekuban lasted the entire duration of the game but received a yellow card in added time following a confrontation with the centre referee, Yasar Kemal Ugurlu.
The former Leeds United forward has made 20 league appearances for Trabzonspor, scored five goals and provided five assists in the process.
