Ghana internationals Michael Essien and Asamoah Gyan have taken to social media to made fun of some Ghanaian celebrities who were completely snubbed by American rapper Cardi B.
The duo joined several Ghanaian to pile the pressure on the self-proclaimed celebrities insisting their fame is only secured through social media likes.
It was an unforgettable experience for Ghanaian female celebrities who on Sunday thronged the Kempinski Hotel to greet American rapper, Cardi B.
Some Ghanaians celebrities including Moesha, Afia Schwarzenegger, Efia Odo and Sandra Ankobiah, among others who said they were invited to meet Cardi B, were disappointed when the rapper failed to show up for a supposed ‘meet-and-greet session.
Victoria Lebene, Afia Schwar and Akuapem Poloo all vented their anger in videos on social media, saying the rapper’s action was disrespectful.
Twenty-four (24) hours after the incident, Essien and Gyan were seen having a conversation in a video posted by famous social media personality, Archipalago, where the two football stars were seen lambasting the snubbed celebrities.
