Christian Atsu is back in Ghana after being released by Newcastle United, but instead of relaxing, he's working hard to ensure he's ready for the next season.
The former Chelsea player arrived in the country with dozens upon dozens of football boots, some of which were provided by Newcastle captain Jamaal Lascelles and will be distributed to youngsters through the winger's charity.
Upon the news he was leaving United, Atsu posted a message to fans: "I just want to say a big thank-you to everyone who is part of the Newcastle United family.
"Thank you to the Toon Army fans, a lot of who I've met around the city.
"I will never forget my time in the North East and for sure I will follow the results every week.
"Thank you my Geordie staff, players and fans, it's been a pleasure."
