After losing 3-0 to Mali last Friday, Ghana has today bounced back with a 5-1 win against Qatar.
The Black Stars were in action this afternoon against the Maroons in a friendly match in this international break.
On the matchday, the Ghana team appeared a more improved side and enjoyed the better of possession throughout the 90 minutes.
The Stars took the lead on the 22nd minute when Tariqe Fosu scored from close range after Jordan Ayew’s shot had been spilled.
Although Qatar will draw parity through Ali Almoez in the final minutes of the first half, a 5-star performance from Ghana meant that the team recorded a big win.
In the second half, Andre Ayew netted a brace while Samuel Owusu and Caleb Ekuban both found the back of the net to complete a 5-1 win for the Black Stars.
