Ghanaian striker Myron Boadu bagged a late equaliser to secure a point for AZ Alkmaar in their 2-2 stalemate with Partizan Belgrade in the UEFA Europa League group stage opener.

AZ Alkmaar took an early in the 13th minute of the game after Calvin Stengs connected beautifully to Myron Boadu’s low cross.

However, Partizan Belgrade scored the equaliser through a penalty by Israeli forward Bibras Natcho in the 42nd minute.

The Serbian giants piled more pressure on the visitors as they took the lead for the first time in the game through Natcho once again who popped up with another fine strike in the 61st minute.

But Boadu came to the rescue of the visitors as he drew them level with a sleek finish in the 67th minute.

The Ghanaian youngster has scored six goals and provided three assists in 12 games for AZ Alkmaar so far in all competitions this season.
