Kevin-Prince Boateng's reputation has diminished somewhat in recent years to say the least.
The Ghanaian international was highly rated at AC Milan having moved to the Italian giants from Portsmouth in 2010, but failed to ever reach his potential.
Now 29, and with a move to the slightly less reputable Las Palmas, you could be forgiven for thinking his days in the limelight are over.
But no...
#LasPalmas just scored this against #Villareal

Villareal 0-1 Las Palmas

It's safe to say this sublime goal came out of the blue from the former Schalke man, striking the ball acrobatically and accurately into the bottom corner of the hapless Villarreal keepers' goal.
The older brother of Jerome Boateng, who has gone on to win the Champions League and World Cup in recent years, Kevin-Prince is clearly eager to make up some ground on his brother.
He has made a reasonable start to his career with Las Palmas. The club currently occupy ninth place in the early La Liga standings, with a respectable 17 goals to their name from just nine games. It's easy to see why.
Having said that, they have conceded 15 at the other end.
And they did lose 2-1 to Villarreal after Boateng's stunner...
